In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his infant daughters, Sharon and Mary; brothers and sisters, Nor-bert (Harriet), William (Lorraine), Vincent (Elaine), Robert (Beady) and Charlotte Green, Florence (Leo) Schmidt, and Esther Van Vreede; and brothers-in-law, Orin Kortz, Gerald Berken, Leo Wei- at the Neenah Foundry for 19 years. After retirement, they moved to a five-acre farmette in Bonduel for 27 years, where they enjoyed the country living and gardening. He was devoted to Jehovah and enjoyed going out in service telling people of the Good News of God's Kingdom.

He is survived by three grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a special cousin, Ann Russell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Gembicki; son, Theodore Gembicki; daughter, Diane Behrent; and granddaughter, Debra Alexander. Audrey was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church and volunteered on numerous church committees. Besides being the best homemaker ever, Audrey was an excellent seamstress, loved to play cards and formerly was employed with the telephone company. 18. 2009, at home with his family at his side. The tenth child of Mary Louise Frigo Dahlin and Carl Henry Dahlin, Mark was born on Dec. 6, 1926, in Ironwood, Mich. Mark was united in marriage to Anita Carol Erspamer on Sept.

25, 1954, in Hurley, sharing nearly 40 years of marriage. She preceded him in death on Aug. 9, 1994. Mark took pleasure in the scenic route and never missed an opportunity to take a shortcut while traveling, though more often than not the shortcut was not always the most direct route. A member of the Class of 1942, Mark graduated from Luther Wright High School in Ironwood, and later earned a degree from Gogebic Community College in Bessemer on June 7.

1956. A proud American, PVT 2 (95th AAA Gun Battalion) Dahlin served his country in the Korean War, stationed in Germany (1951-52). With an adventurous soul and a penchant for fun, Mark was an accomplished ski jumper, placing as runner-up in the 90 Slide Army Ski Jumping Championships in Garmisch, Germany, 1952. Mark was employed as a Switchman by the Chicago North Western Railroad for 40 years until his retirement on Dec. 21, 1988, never complaining about the wrath of Mother Nature or Old Man Winter.

Mark is survived by three children, Joellyn (Frank J. Walker) Dahlin, Fond du Lac; Peggy Dahlin, Kaukauna; Mark P. Dahlin (Jaime Lopez), Kaukauna; a granddaughter, Mackenzie Rose Dahlin; special nephew, David W. (Susan) Dahlin and children, Lauren and Marc; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Mark's granddogs, Two Spot, Gucci, Annie, Lucy and Ethel, held a very special place in his heart.

John retired from Thilmany Pulp Paper Co. in 1989. He also drove for Swinkles Bussing. John loved to go to his cabin on Berry Lake. He and Germaine vacationed in Florida each winter.

He was an avid card player and enjoyed word-find puzzles. He also enjoyed walking, riding his bike and tinkering with things. John was loyal to the Packers, Brewers and Badgers.
