Kristian Campbell - 2B/OF, Boston Red Sox

Level: Double-A
2024 stats:
52 G, .328/.427/.586, 10 HR, 35 RBI, 42 R, Five SB, 13.2% BB%, 24.4% K%, .417 BABIP, .452 wOBA, 178 wRC+

Campbell is a former fourth-round pick out of Georgia Tech who has had one of the fastest ascensions to prominence in all of Minor League Baseball. At the plate, he makes good contact, peppers all parts of the field, and minimizes whiffs. He's more of a line-drive hitter and can't be depended upon for a power surge. Defensively, he's speedy and athletic enough to patrol center field or second base, and the Red Sox will likely leave the door open for him to play one or both of those spots long-term.

This past week was quite memorable for Campbell. Less than 14 days after being promoted to Double-A, he put together an impressive week by hitting 12-for-28 with two homers, four doubles, seven RBI, one walk, and eight strikeouts. Evidently, Campbell puts balls in play and drives in runs, but he likely won't ever be a top power threat.

Kristian Campbell has already earned his first Player of the Week honors in the Eastern League.

Brad Lord - SP, Washington Nationals

Level: Double-A
2024 stats:
12 G, 12 GS, 7-1, 67.2 IP, 1.46 ERA, 3.38 FIP, 9.44 K/9, 3.46 BB/9, 0.53 HR/9, .265 BABIP

Lord is a former 18th-round pick out of South Florida who has truly ascended and is putting together some incredible performances in the 2024 campaign. The 24-year-old gets good velocity behind his fastball, but he does need to do a better job harnessing his control, especially late in counts.

Last week, Lord spun a seven-inning shutout against Bowie. Along the way, he struck out a whopping 10 batters and allowed just two hits. He's now 7-1 on the campaign and has some pretty amazing statistics. Perhaps a promotion to Triple-A is in order for the young hurler.

Good Lord 😮‍💨@BradLord6 produced his 2nd-career double-digit strikeout performance last night (7.0 IP, 0 R, 10 K, 2 H) for his 7th win of the season.

Ranks in the Nationals Organization: ERA (1st, 1.29), W (1st, 7), SO (1st, 71), IP (1st, 67.2), Opp. AVG (2nd, .199), WHIP (2nd,… pic.twitter.com/OBnGyrvC5Z

Dakota Harris - 2B/SS, St. Louis Cardinals

Level: High-A
2024 stats:
45 G, .296/.337/.447, Six HR, 24 RBI, 20 R, Four SB, 4.6% BB%, 17.7% K%, .336 BABIP, .359 wOBA, 119 wRC+

Harris is a middle infielder who found his way to the Cardinals organization during the 11th round of last year's MLB Draft. The Oklahoma product has already contributed at the plate, putting plenty of balls in play and even flashing some power. On a less exciting note, he's striking out too much and walking too little.

With that said, the 22-year-old is coming off a big week in which he went 10-for-18 with three homers, eight RBI, two walks, and one strikeout. He also stole a pair of bases. Invested fantasy managers can make plenty of observations about this stretch, including the fact that he's making up for his lack of walks with respectable power.

Dakota Harris ties us up at four through four innings!

Alejandro Rosario - SP, Texas Rangers

Level: Single-A
2024 stats:
Nine G, Nine GS, 2-2, 42.1 IP, 1.49 ERA, 1.59 xFIP, 13.39 K/9, 1.06 BB/9, 0.43 HR/9, 53.8% GB%, .293 BABIP

Rosario generated some buzz as a potential Day 1 draft pick last year but ultimately fell to the Rangers in Round 5. He relies quite heavily on his mid-90s fastball, but he throws a very effective low-80s slider, too. He has also done a great job cleaning up the bulk of his control issues from his time on the mound for the University of Miami, bumping up his K/BB ratio to an astounding 12.6.

Last week, Rosario continued to shine, striking out six batters over seven scoreless innings. His lone blemish was a single. He's arguably overstayed his welcome at High-A and is inching closer to a Double-A promotion sooner rather than later.

Rangers Prospect Alejandro Rosario was a 5th round pick in 2023. Was viewed as a day 1 draft talent by some but concerns with control and an ERA in the 7’s during his last 2 college seasons let him slide.

He’s dominating in Low-A.

Logan Wagner - 1B/3B, Los Angeles Dodgers

Level: Single-A
2024 stats:
31 G, .267/.434/.552, Six HR, 20 RBI, 23 R, Four SB, 16.9% BB%, 25.7% K%, .344 BABIP, .458 wOBA, 165 wRC+

Wagner is a talented switch-hitter selected in the sixth round of the 2022 draft. Thus far, he has mainly been viewed as a power hitter, though it's worth noting that he's been able to get on base at a very high clip thanks to plenty of walks. Sluggers with high walk rates aren't incredibly common, so if Wagner can keep it up, he'll provide extreme value within the Dodgers system. On the field, he's a reliable defender with versatility, capable of playing first base and third base.

Last week, Wagner went 11-for-21 with four homers, three doubles, seven RBI, four walks, and four strikeouts. Along the way, he extended his hitting streak to seven games. The young corner infielder is a name to watch in dynasty fantasy baseball given his high walk and home-run totals.

Love watching young hitters use the "Big Part of the Field", especially from both sides of the plate. That's what Logan Wagner did yesterday for HR #4 & double #7. He has 100 ABs since being ramped back up & has 13 extra base hits & he has hits in 6 games in a row. #dodgers pic.twitter.com/62vvlh4tlj
