Everything you need to know about the new season of Doctor Who (2024)

This weekend the Doctor and his companion Ruby Sunday are back in a new season of BBC science fiction show Doctor Who. Viewers were first introduced to the Fifteenth Doctor, played by Ncuti Gatwa, last year during the show’s 60th anniversary specials.

On Christmas Day last year the new Doctor met Ruby, a young woman who was abandoned as a baby outside a church on Ruby Road. The pair faced off against goblins who proceeded to try and erase the Time Lord’s new friend from history.

At the end of the adventure the Doctor showed Ruby the TARDIS, and now the new duo are set to travel across time and space.
